Volunteer Opportunities

Store Volunteers Needed!!

Description:      Assist with providing necessities for clients and quality merchandise to the public

Hours:              Donations: Mon-Sat 9am-3pm, closed Wed;

           Store: Thur. 1pm-4pm, Fri-Sat 10am-4pm

Responsibilities:

• Stock work: rotation of merchandise
• Straightening the merchandise on the floor
• Bring merchandise from stockroom to floor

Qualifications:

• Must demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to help people
• Demonstrate sensitivity to varying cultural, ethnic and social backgrounds, values, attitudes, and languages

Training and Supervision:

• On-the-job training provided by Store Manager

Outcomes/Goals:

• The First Step Family Store will be welcoming and inviting to people we serve
• To sell merchandise to support clients services
